Use only real eggs, butter and sour cream or grandma will come down from heaven and hunt you down. Could not stop eating it got ate up in a day. I found your recipe a while back and I added it to my favorites. Thanks for sharing your recipe with all of us.

In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together butter and sugar on medium-high speed for 2 minutes until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and add the eggs to the mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add in half of the sour cream, and mix until combined. Repeat with the remaining half of the dry ingredients mixture, followed by the remaining sour cream. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan, and spread it around so that it covers the bottom of the pan in an even layer.
Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar topping evenly on top. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar topping evenly on top.
What Makes This Coffee Cake The BEST?
Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. Remove from the oven, then drizzle with the glaze if desired see below. Serve warm. Thanks Anita! I love coffee cake too. Did you know you can brew lemonade and Snapple in the keurig too? Fun and delish! I work as a Registered Nurse on the night shift. Coffee is my friend. My bestest friend. I would love to become just as spoiled at home as I am at work by having my very own magical coffee machine to make coffee, iced coffee, hot tea, cider and cocoa. Not that I would make the cider often, but I could if I had a Keurig!
A few of our doctors gave our unit a Keurig for Christmas. We love our doctors! I look forward to lots and lots of coffee, and iced coffee. I have been wanting a Keurig recently. I am all about the coffee.
